A Nigerian man had taken to his Twitter handle to give marital advised but he was ‘cooked’ by other members of the micro-blogging platform.
Dr Feruke seemingly complimented his wife in an unorthodox way and he was dragged by other Twitter users who felt he embarrassed his wife.
Dr Feruke’s tweet read ;
All of them are shouting about how fine my wife is today.
But I know how i met her.
Hint ; until i asked her out, no one had asked her out before me. Not since secondary school play relationship.
I know what I found, I know what’s there today.
Marry your spec. Ok o.
Dr Feruke’s words were interpreted as calling his wife “ugly” or “not so good looking” when he met her and for that reason he was criticized.

Even as a joke this is so distasteful and cringe.
But it isn’t, this is god complex at its finest. And from a mid man for that matter.

The desperate need to make a point, even wen there’s absolutely no need to, is really crazy.
You just wake up one morning to educate young people to marry their spec and you talk down your wife, calling her ugly before you married her…in the same breath! Jesu Christi

“My wife gets beautiful with each passing year. I’m happy I married my spec.”
Simple. But no, tell us how no one asked her out since secondary school before you did.
Husband: My wife was below par when I met her.
Man: No nowwwwww. She was OK but she was focused on other things.
Wife: please remind him I was beautiful and brilliant.
Husband: you? Beautiful? I remember what you looked like when I picked you up to marry you. pic.twitter.com/SNQQ8EFM91
