There is currently jubilation across the nation following news that popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, is still alive following earlier reports that he has passed away.
Recall that news made rounds earlier that the movie star died in a boating accident in Anam River, Anambra state, while returning from a movie location.
In a surprising and joyful turn of events, Junior Pope has reportedly been resuscitaed and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Delta State.
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, confirmed the good news in a post shared on his Instagram page moments ago.
In a now-deleted post, Rollas wrote,
“What God cannot do does exist.
Junior Pope is alive
He is taking treatment in the hospital”

According to stories making rounds online, Junior Pope was taken to the mortuary but was rejected by the attendants because he still had live in him.
