Award-winning American rapper, Cardi B has been spotted dancing energetically to an African beat while wearing an African-print head tie and wrapper.
The WAP hitmaker, who has shown immense appreciation for the African culture, and Nigeria in particular over the years, was seen moving her body in rhythm to the sound of the drum.
Cardi B born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, who shared the video on TikTok, was in a dance studio as other dancers were present in the background.
In the video, she was wearing an head tie donned by African women, which is popularly called gele in Nigeria, and tied a wrapper made from the same fabric around her waist as she moved her body in sync with the African sound.

In other news, The ‘Bodak Yellow’ crooner came to Nigeria in 2019 and visited the Lions Village motherless babies home in Lagos.
Sharing a few pictures from her visit, the 27 year old mother in her post thanked the staff at the home for the care given to the kids saying, “Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of more love and protection and gear them up for a better place ,destiny and future.People like YALL MATTER !”
The social media sensation later performed at the Livespot X Festival alongside other critically acclaimed Nigerian artistes including Teni, Patoranking, Niniola, Reekado Banks among others as part of her two-city tour Africa to Lagos and Accra.
