Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following news of the demise of veteran actor, Jim Lawson Maduike.
According to reports, the Imo state thespian died after complaining of body pains at around 12 pm on Saturday, January 9.
The Nollywood actor, radio broadcaster, writer, and TV personality joined the Nollywood movie industry in 2004 and featured in more than 150 movies.
This is coming barely two weeks after the Nollywood movie industry lost two veterans – Chico Ejiro and Folake Aremu.
It was reported that Veteran Yoruba actress Folake Aremu, who is popularly known as Orisabunmi, died at the age of 60.
The demise of the Kwara born thespian comes no more than four months after her ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo passed away.
Veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, also passed on in the early hours of December 25, from a seizure and has been buried.
Nollywood actors and movie makers have already begun sending tributes to the late actor across social media platforms.
