A video of a congregation of a church praying while armed with different weapons to attack “principalities and powers”, has surfaced online.
In the now viral video, the church members were seen with different weapons ready to attack every principality and power working against them.
Although the exact location of the church is unknown, the incident is presumed to have happened here in Nigeria.
Some members of the church were seen with brooms, sticks, and machetes ready to destroy evil spirits.
The clergyman who led the prayer session was armed with a gun as they continued firing prayer against the “enemy”.

However the prayer session has received backlash on social media, as netizen criticized the pastor and his congregation.
A Twitter user, @saucy_nerd wrote, “Religion definitely Goan be the end of us in the country”.
@RolandAhotwin wrote, “God save us from religion”.
@realmarvellomj wrote,
“These people don’t read bible at all and that why they are being misled because, I don’t understand why you’ll take these kind of things to church to fight against things you can’t see.
