A man on supplemental oxygen goes viral when a fellow patient captured him unaware in a video, staking bets on his phone. The man sat on his hospital bed and scrolled through the online betting platforms to stake lucky claims.
His action has generated massive reactions from netizens who could not believe that a man in such a delicate state would indulge in something that sometimes kills even the strong.
They reasoned that he possibly did not like himself or was on an indirect suicide mission. This is because betting has been identified with terrible consequences whenever it goes haywire.
It has been rumored to send players to an early grave or put them in premature health conditions. Some lose their properties and go into financial bankruptcy.
However, some netizens reasoned that the sick man could have been in a strait financial situation for him to resort to that.
They speculated that he may have been unable to pay for the oxygen therapy and hospital bills which he currently has. Therefore, he decided to look for a means to make money to sort them.
