Nigerian-American rapper Wale is in Lagos and he made a surprise appearance to Toolz and Tunde Demuren‘s traditional wedding yesterday – click here if you missed it.
He posted a photo with Olamide (who performed) on his IG page and one of his fans insulted Olamide’s sandals. Apparently, Olamide was at Toolz wedding this is contrary to reports he wasn’t in attendance.

On the other hand, Nigerian fans have been coming for Wale for his own style to the wedding – wearing a wool winter cap (Headwarmer. lol) and black sneakers with his black traditional wear.
A fan commented that’s not even acceptable to wear to a US wedding, so they are wondering why he wore it here.
“wale is this how they dress up for the weddings you go to in America? taa gerrout osiso!”
The unkind comments didn’t go unnoticed by Nigerians who returned fire for fire, defending Naija’s top rapper and their home country.
