The hashtag, #WeMissDavido has began trending on social media as fans of music icon, Davido beg him to return to social media.
This comes close to two weeks after the singer took to his respective social media pages to reveal to his fans that he’ll be taking time off social media to “cleanse” himself.
In his note to his fans and followers, the singer revealed how he has been putting a lot of people before himself but he’ll be changing that narrative as he is set to focus on his life. He also revealed he got a new mobile number.
He stated that anyone who can no longer reach him shouldn’t worry as he will contact those he wishes to remain in touch with.
Despite the fact that the singer, social distanced himself from social media, he was still entangled in social media controversy after it was first revealed that he welcomed a new child with his fourth baby mama and it was later revealed that the birth of his fourth child is what led to the breakup of himself and his fiance.
Well, it’s been almost a fortnight since the singer gave the announcement of staying away from social media and he’s yet to make any further post since then.
A chunk of his fans, who are now beginning to miss his social media shenanigans, have now taken to Twitter to trend the hashtag #WeMissDavido.
While some of them used the opportunity to highlight some of his impressive achievements, some beckoned on the singer to make a social media comeback.
