Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile popularly known as Portable, has advised people to value themselves during a podcast session with ‘Adeshope’.
He also mentioned that the recent album he dropped had 20 songs and zero features because he wants to enjoy his money all by himself.
Portable, who became famous after he contributed to the song ‘ZaZoo Zehh’ featuring singer Olamide and Nigerian dancer Pocolee, also advised people to package themselves.
Portable revealed that his decision not to feature other artistes in his recent album was because he noticed that people in the entertainment industry barely share his content.
He added that even when they share his content, they would not tag him, reason why he shares his content by himself and constantly.
He also advised that people should be the number fan of their contents and not worry about if people share their contents or not.
In his words;
“When they don’t value you value yourself, you package yourself, I package myself, I love myself, I’m proud of myself, I am a fan of myself. That’s why I drop album through Don Jazzy, I no feature anybody, I wan chop all the money by myself, no be say na them blow me, I blow myself. Them no dey post me I post myself, I kon discover say, them just dey use mouth, them no dey use @portable so when them post you them dey fake you, them fit post your good, them fit post your bad, so even bad days are part of good life, the way dem talk about me, good or bad I’m blowded.”
