Yesterday, an unusual trend happened on the nigerian cyberspace and indeed the world over, as it was announced that Sex robots fused with Human Artificial intelligence had been rolled out and put up for sales, with one sex robot costing up to 800,000 Naira.
This drew reactions from many celebrities and Nigerians alike and brought about a new debate, whether these sex dolls were needed or not.
Some girls even went as far as posting pictures comparing themselves to sex dolls, claiming they were better than them.
Most notably, Nigerian Superstar singer reacted, claiming that it seemed the people who created the sex dolls and were selling it for that high amount, forgot the price of a commercial sex worker on the streets.
Wizkid tweeted;
Bazy say the people wey make sex doll… Be like dem no know how much olosho be for street.
Few days ago, there was a viral report that MALE sex robots with bionic penises will be rolled out this year, according to the pioneer of pleasure behind the popular female versions that dropped last year.
Matt McMullen, founder of Realbotix, is the man who created Harmony, an artificial intelligence app that syncs up with a robotic head system.
The application enables users to match an AI personality with a humanoid robot head, to create the most realistic sex doll imaginable.
Harmony allowed the android companions to talk, learn and satisfy customer’s sexual desires. Currently there are only only female versions of Harmony avatars and robotic heads – and they cost around £11,000 (5 million naira), but Matt thinks there is a demand for male versions.
