Nigerian content creator, Amarachi Amusi, better known as Ashmusy, has stated that it is very acceptable for women to have high standards for a guy.
According to the content creator and entrepreneur, women are the prize, and they can choose to date only wealthy or well-off guys who drive fancy vehicles and own homes.
Speaking in a Spill With Phyna podcast episode, Ashmusy made this statement, stressing that as the prize, a variety of men would pursue women, and they are free to choose the one who best suits their needs.
She said that it is still up to the woman to decide whether to suffer or put up with a poor man if they still want to marry him for love.
However the creator of the skit claimed that, as an accomplished woman, she sets her own standards and chooses the kind of man she desires.
Ashmusy said;
“It’s your choice, even if you are small, broke, rich and you want to set a standard that you want to date a man that drives a car or has houses, you have the right to set the standard.
“You are the prize as a woman, so it’s your choice. Being the prize means that they will come for you, you decide who you want. That’s my opinion. If another girl too wants to use love to marry someone that does not have anything at all, it’s still her choice.”
