Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has reacted to reports that, actor, Baba Ijesha, who was recently arrested over allegations of molesting a minor, may be released on bail.
Recall that, a police source who spoke with Punch, revealed the ongoing strike action by members of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria has prevented courts in the state from sitting and has prevented the police from arraigning the suspect. The police source said Baba Ijesha could not be detained indefinitely without trial.
In reaction to this report, Nollywood actress and mother of one took to her official Instagram page to state that she knew such scenario might play out, which is why she has been pushing for the case to be transferred to Abuja.
Speaking further, Tonto who vowed that the case’is going to be a war’, volunteered to take care of the accommodation, transportation and security of the victim’s team, when the case is finally transferred to Abuja.
