Following the recent frenzy that has been buzzing on social media for a while now after it seems that there’s some celebrities who endorse Cyber Crime amongst youths, Nigerian singer, Jire, has waded in on the topic.
Social media was set abuzz when Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley said Yahoo boys are the reason why Nigerians are having some money to spend because they make money circulate and he does not need Yahoo because he is making money from his music.
His stance caused a lot of reactions on social media and it almost seemed as though, he had the support of some other celebrities – his stance comes after singing sensation, Simi was blasted for saying she doesn’t endorse cyber crime.
In light of this whole frenzy, budding Nigerian singer, Jire has now said it’s because of these Cyber criminals that the #EndSARS campaign sound like a joke to the government.
