Former YBNL signee, Temmie Ovwasa professionally known as YBNL Princess has refused to remove YBNL from her stage name despite leaving Olamide’s label.
The 24-year-old singer, who disclosed that she was no longer signed to YBNL record label on Instagram, engaged in a question and answer session with her fans recently.
She asked her fans to ask her any question about her new album “E be like say dem swear for me”.
A number of her followers decided to quiz her about her former boss, Olamide and why she is still using the label name.
A fan said, “Oya remove YBNL for ur name nau.”
In response, Temmie Ovwasa said she owns the name “YBNL Princess”.
In her words,
“My name is Temmie Ovwasa. YBNLPrincess is one word. Beyond that, I own this name.”
“I was going to remove it but now that y’all are here I’m enjoying your tears. cry baby, be my bitch. I love when people hide behind their burner accounts and talk shit.”
The openly gay artiste also added that she is now signed to Rainbow Republic record label.
Another fan used the opportunity to tell Temmie that Olamide loves her and had better plans for her if she had just been patient.
In response she said,
“Signed. 2016-2020. I hope someone else can benefit from the 5 years of better plans.”
