Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has seemingly reacted to Godson, an associate of singer Wizkid, after he lambasted her for supporting Angelique Kidjo’s Grammy win.
It was earlier reported that Godson took to his Instastory to tell Yemi Alade that she would never sell out any venue in one minute till she dies, despite the fact that she is trying to fit into the French market with her music.
This came after Wizkid sold out a venue in Paris, France in one minute for his ongoing “Made In Lagos” tour.
Godson wrote, “Yemi Alade with ur french n francophone sing alike meaningful and soulful music will never be able to sell any venue out in 1min till u die yes till u die”. Read here
Yemi Alade has now responded to him in a post she shared on her Instagram page. Although she didn’t mention his name, it is evident that she was referring to him in the post she has now deleted.
She wrote,
“Before you argue with someone ask yourself, “is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspective?” if not there is no point to argue.
Not Every Question deserves and answer… sometimes choose VAWULENCE.. respectively.”
