Nigerian singer, Zinoleesky, appears to have established his own entertainment outfit amid the controversy surrounding his colleague, Mohbad’s death.
Zinoleesky, whose US tour was recently canceled by the show promoter, has seemingly transitioned from Marlian Music to his personal record label, just days after Mohbad’s sudden demise
Recall that Mohbad, a 27-year-old artiste who was formerly under Marlian Music, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, under mysterious circumstances.
His death has since sparked a huge controversy on social media, with many berating his former label loss, Naira Marley, for allegedly subjecting him to relentless bullying.
People also started mass unfollowing Naira Marley on social media, and cancelling his music and record label.
Zinoleesky was also criticized for keeping mute when Mohbad was suffering mistreatment from Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.
Prior to Mohbad’s death, Zinoleesky’s Instagram bio did not feature the name of any record label. However, in a new update, the 27-year-old singer has added “Zinonymous Sounds” to his bio.
Although it has not been officially confirmed that he has parted ways with Marlian Music, there are speculations that his choice to promote his personal brand, ‘Zinonymous Sounds,’ is influenced by the backlash that Marlian Music is currently facing on the internet.
